Middleton, M.D., of the Pennsylvania Steel Company, at Steelton, Pennsylvania. A double ring ceremony united Eleanor Agnes Eugenia Moknach and Dan Nicely at St. Mary’s Church. The Rev. James Killeen, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moknach of 65 Clairmont Dr., Mentor, Ohio. She is a, member of Branch 20-V, Fairport Harbor, Ohio, formerly was a mem*ber in Youngstown, Ohio. The bridegroom is the son of Edgar Nicely of Bartow, West Virginia. At the November meeting definite steps were taken to start a financial campaign in the Springdale-New Kensington area to help relieve the suffering of the destitute people of Hungary in their struggle for freedom. A committee, with John P. Balia as chairman, was organized to work out the details of such a campaign. To start with, the branch donated $100, and within a short time after the meeting an additional $100-plus was donated and pledged. All donations will be acknowledged in the WILLLIAM PENN and publicly in the two local newspapers. There is a great need for medicine, bandages, plasma, clothes, food, and Colleen Owens. Robert Roberti served as best man. Church organist was Francis Maloney. Following the ceremony a luncheon was served at the home of the bride’s parents to fifteen members of the immediate families. Later in the day a reception was held at the same place with approximately seventy-five guests attending. Out of town guests came from Columbus, Madison, Cleveland, Fairport, Youngstown, Ohio; New York, New York; Latrobe, Pennsylvania; and Bartow, West Virginia. other emergency supplies to help sooth those unfortunate people. The only way that these materials can be gotten is by U.S. dollars. Please give heartily as it is our moral and Christian obligation to help relieve the pathetic situation in Hungary. All money collected locally will be forwarded to the Home Office which will see to it that the money is channeled to the proper places where it will do the most good. * * * Best wishes for quick recovery to Mrs. Paul Kotan, Mrs. Joseph Hegedűs, and Louis James Maholic, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Maholic of Russelton, who were hospitalized recently. * * * On the week-end of November 10th, Julius Telegdy visited his son, Julius Jr., a student at Elmhurst College near Chicago, Illinois.
