We had a lot of snow the day before the first official day of Spring, but the weather is more settled now. I received a nice letter from Albert Joczik last, month, complimenting us on our column. Thank you, Al. We hope to continue to merit this praise. A preliminary discussion was held at our March meeting about the Buffalo bowling event in May, with final arrangements to be concluded in April. Stephan Mate and Frank Szerdahelyi were at the latest meeting. It was good to see them. Miss Helen Pinter, daughter of one of our active members, John Pinter, was married on February 12th to Thomas Censori in the Sacred Heart Church, Philadelphia. The maid-of-honor was Miss Elizabeth Wagner, the best man Ramos Carlos. Following their honeymoon in Atlantic City, the newlyweds are making their home, in Philadelphia. Mrs. Censori is an accomplished pianist, having played at many Hungarian affairs, and is a member of the local musicians’ union. Our best wishes to the happy couple! A daughter girl wras born to Mr. and Mrs. Emery Szentfulopi, brother and sister-in-law, respectively, of our member, Balint Szentfulopi, at midnight', March 17th.
