Those attending the meeting and golf weekend showed their strong support for the Foundation by pledging a total of $5,525 during and after the meeting. Since 1972, the Foundation has awarded 6,152 scholarships worth a total of more than $2.7 million. Chair of the WPA Board Andrew W. McNelis urged all WPA branches to set up collection jars at branch events and ask those attending to take a dollar, or whatever spare money they may be carrying, and placing it in the collection. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps sustain this worthwhile fraternal effort that benefits our young members. The Foundation also elected 20 members to serve on its Advisory Board. Elected by unanimous vote to a one-year term were: Robert G. Bisceglia, David J. Chakey, Steven F. Charles, Dennis A. Chobody, Catherine A. Heitman, Barbara A. House, Thomas F. House, Charles S. Johns, Alexis C. Kozak, James R. Lewis, James R. Lewis, Jr., Ralph F. Manning, Esq., Marguerite T. McNelis, W. Harry Nicholson, Violet E. Sarosi, Mark C. Schmidt, Alan A.
