Travel with us and rediscover your roots The Home Office recently announced it is accepting reservations for the WPA Tour 2017: Rediscovering Our Roots. As the name implies, this year's tour will take place entirely within the Land of the Magyars, featuring visits to many of Hungary's most famous, interesting and historical cities and places. More information and a reservation form for this year's tour can be found on the inside front cover of this issue. But, while that information may answer some of your questions about this year's tour, you still may be asking: "Why should I go on a tour with WPA?" We certainly could give you many reasons why you should join our happy band of travelers, but, instead, we ask you to read what your fellow WPA members who traveled with us in 2016 had to say about our tour. "It is very enjoyable to travel with this group. The focus is on heritage and companionship," said Robert D. "The highlight of my trip was the delicious food and fantastic wines and pálinka." Michelle P. enjoyed experiencing Magyar culture by "using different currencies, moving about abroad on trains, subways and buses." She also said she would recommend future WPA-sponsored trips to friends and family members because, "it's a wonderful opportunity to travel to places you wouldn't on your own. All the plans and arrangements are made for us... and what about that Schnitzel?!" "There were many highlights" said Barbara Y. "We especially enjoyed the cruise on the Danube and the Budapest days-Castle Hill, spas, markets...also the farewell dinner and show....I would recommend this trip. It was so well planned and enjoyable. We had a great adventure. I A wonderful memory from the WPA Tour 2016. reunited with my Hungarian background and culture and renewed my love for the Hungarian experiences I had as a child." "I would recommend WPA trips," said Arlene G. "The trips are reasonably priced and culturally sound." Ann C. found it was "easy to get along with a variety of people" on the trip. "I would recommend future WPA- sponsored trips to friends and family members....It was a great trip for the price." So, you don't just have to take our word for it—take the advice of your fellow WPA members who know: WPA tours are a perfect way to visit Hungary at a reasonable cost.
