Over the past five months, we have been building a new and (we hope) more fun and more interesting Just 4 KidZ section. We asked you to help us by telling us the kind of games, recipes, crafts and other things you enjoy and would like to read about. We thank all the children who sent in their ideas! After reading and thinking about each entry very carefully, we have picked the ones we thought were the best. The winners are: 1. Siblings Adam P., Emma P. and Natalie P. of Ohio, who asked to read more about Hungarian ethnic games and crafts. 2. Isaac J. of Pennsylvania, who would like to read about healthy, do-it-yourself recipes for kids. CONGRATULATIONS! Your prizes are in the mail! Topics based on the winning ideas will be published in the next few issues, starting with an idea based on Adam, Emma and Natalie's suggestion. Hungarian children are like American children: they love toys! Perhaps the world's most famous toy is the Rubik's Cube, invented in 1974 by Hungarian professor of architecture and sculptor, Ernő Rubik. More than 350 million Rubik's cubes have been sold, making it the world's most popular toy. It was VERY popular in the 1980s. We wouldn't be surprised if your parents have one in your house. This toy remains quite popular today. It's not easy to solve...at least for most people. Give it a try. If you need a little help, you can ask your mom or dad to help you visit the Rubik's Cube website: www. rubiks.com. There, you can find information about a popular activity called "speedcubing." Until you solve the cube, here's one you can have fun coloring. Remember, the only colors you want to use are red, green, blue, yellow and orange. And don't forget to leave a block or two white. 18 ° June 2017 0 WILLIAM PENN LIFE
