Branch News Continued from Page 30 Paul Food Bank in Altoona and the American Rescue Workers in Hollidaysburg. Branch officers voted to sponsor two frames at the WPA Annual Bowling Tournament. We are proud our sponsorship aids the WPFA Scholarship Foundation. Save the date! The Branch 800 summer picnic will be held Wednesday, Aug. 2, at JTighland Park, Altoona, at 6:00 p.m., rain or shine. We offer condolences to the family of longtime member Bob Aiken, who recently passed away, and to all those experiencing the loss of a loved one. Remember that Easter is about the Resurrection. Vince Frank, former branch president, is now out and about after having knee problems. Get well wishes to Bob Jones, branch treasurer and coordinator, who just underwent knee surgery. We pray for all members who are ailing and for their caretakers. Pray for Olive Savino, also. Congratulations to all who are celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, weddings and other happy occasions. We would like to see more members attend our branch meetings, held the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Religious Education Center in Altoona. For more information, please call Joan Ballash at 814-941- 8863. Bob Jones is well enough to take your calls and answer your questions about WPA life insurance and annuity products. Call Bob at 814- 942-2661. In Memóriám We ask you to pray for the eternal rest of all our recently departed members listed here: FEBRUARY 2017 0001 BRIDGEPORT, CT George F.
