In Hlemoriam On October 12, 2015, the 38th General Convention honored the memory of those distinguished members who had passed away since the last convention with a special memorial service. Among our deceased members were many who were builders of the Association, people whose dedication, loyalty and hard work made WPA a leader in the fraternal benefit system and the American Hungarian community. Whether these individuals served on the national or branch level, in the Home Office or in the field, it was only fitting that their names be noted in the records of the 38th General Convention, and that the delegates recognize and pay tribute to their valuable contributions. The memorial service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Bodnar of Branch 19 New Brunswick, N.J., who offered reflections and paid tribute to the fraternal spirit of those being honored. Then all in attendance joined in the singing of the first verse of “Amazing Grace.” Among those honored during the service were: Illustrious Members: Anna B. Hrabar, Branch 16 Perthy Amboy, N.J.; and Anna Kertesz, Branch 249 Dayton, Ohio. Former Officers, Directors and Auditing Committee Members: Stephen Danko, retired Vice Chairman of the Board; Elmer A.
