Branch News Continued from Page 30 religious items and supplies to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates. Branch 800 wishes a happy birthday to all members celebrating during the month of April. We send out belated birthday wishes to two of our longtime members: Mel Frank, who reached to the pinnacle of 90; and Olive Savino, who turned 93 earlier this year. Our branch is preparing for our 50-year member recognition luncheon and awards ceremony to be held during our May meeting. Branch 800 wishes good luck to all the bowlers participating in the WPA Annual Bowling Tournament May 2 and 3. We also wish the best to all members who will be participating in Join Hands Day projects on May 3. The Pittsburgh Pirates have started their 2014 season, as have their AA-level affiliate, the Altoona Curve. We hope both teams get off to a winning start.
