For Starters WPA Golf Tourney Schedule of Events Our 30th Annual Golf Tournament & Scholarship Days will be held this month, and we have everything in place for a fantastic weekend of fraternal, family fun. We hope you and your family have made your reserva­tions to join us. Here’s the schedule of events for the weekend: Friday, July 19, 2013 • 4:00 - 7:00 PM - Registration in the hotel ballroom foyer • 6:00 PM - Annual Meeting of the William Penn Fraternal Associa­tion Scholarship Foundation, Inc., in the hotel ballroom • 7:00-10:00 PM - Golfers’ Reception in the hotel ballroom Saturday, July 20, 2013 • 7:30 AM - Continental breakfast for golfers served at golf course, compliments of WPA • 8:30 AM - Tournament shotgun start • 10:00 AM - WPA Mini-Golf Open for kids and teens (Please arrive by 9:45 AM) • Golf Awards Barbeque with cash bar at the golf club immediately following the conclusion of tournament play For more information about either the golf tournament or the WPFA Schol­arship Foundation, please call the Home Office toll-free at 1-800-848- 7366. New Jersey Festival Members ofWPA's Official Family remembered Hungarian heroes during the 38th An­nual Hungarian Festival in New Brunswick, N.J., June I. Above, Vice Chair of the Board William J. Novak and National Vice President- Fraternal Endre Csornán lay a wreath at the statue of Cardinal József Mindszenty in front of St Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church. WPA also laid a wreath at the Memo­rial Wall honoring the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. During the festival, guests enjoyed performances by Magyar dancers and musicians, dined on homemade Hungarian food and viewed displays of Hungarian artifacts, crafts and historical information. They also learned about WPA’s fraternal mission at a booth operated by WPA officials. Prizes sought for Chinese auctions WPA will be conducting Chinese auctions during the 30th Annual William Penn Association Golf Tournament & Scholarship Days and the 13th Annual WPA Picnic-A Great Fraternal Fest. Both auc­tions will benefit the William Penn Fraternal Association Scholar­ship Foundation, Inc. The golf tournament auction will be conducted on Friday, July 19, during the golfers' reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. The picnic auction will be held Saturday, Sept. 7. If you would like to donate a prize basket for either auction, please let us know in advance what type of prize you will be donat­ing. Also, please tell Ronda if you will be delivering your prize basket to the Home Office prior to the event or bringing it with you the day of the auction.
