Members of Branch 249 Dayton, Ohio (photo 6), beautified the gardens at St. Stephen Hungarian Catholic Church by pulling weeds, planting flowers and shrubs, mulching and edging. Those participating in the project were (l-r) the Rev. John Kapitan, Brother Tim, Michele Daley-La Flame, Anne Marie Schmidt, Steve La Flame and Mark Schmidt. In Michigan, members of Branch 18 Lincoln Park (photo 12) volunteered their time and effort to plant 35 flats of flowers at West Mound United Methodist Church in Taylor, Mich., and St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Lincoln Park. Among the volunteers participating were: Ursula Markovits, Tamas Markovits and Pauline Kulcsár (photo 7); Ashley and Zachary Haas (photo 8); Beata Császár and Eleanor Kender (photo 9); and Michael Obert (photo 10). Branch 14 Cleveland, Ohio (photo I I) once again presented a donation to Hattie Larlham, a nonprofit organization that provides services in Northeast Ohio to 1,500 children and adults with developmental disabilities. The branch donated $ 1,020, which will be used to purchase three oxygen finger probes and six oxygen ear probes. Richard E.
