In Memóriám DONNA J. NAGY MANDEVILLE, LA - The members of Branch 71 Duquesne, Pa., and WPA’s Official Family were saddened by the recent death of Donna J. Nagy, former coordinator of Branch 71 and wife of National Director Roger G. Nagy Mrs. Nagy, 65, passed away Oct. 20, 2010, with members of her family at her side. The daughter of the late Pete and Mildred Bostich, Mrs. Nagy graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 1968. She was a teacher and substitute teacher for Duquesne (Pa.) High School and the West Mifflin (Pa.) School District from 1969 to 1974. She was a member of the North Hills Sports Car Club, active in the Brierly Heights Women’s Club, served as a teacher’s aide at St. Agnes Catholic School, was active with the Junior Tamburitzans of Duquesne and the Slaviane Folk Ensemble. She was also a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mandeville, La. In addition to her husband of 42 years, she is survived by a son, Gregory; a daughter, Sarah E. Nagy-Pitts; a sister, Barbara Madness; and two brothers, Pete Bostich and Mark Bostich. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church in Duquesne. Entombment was in Lebanon Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Pennies for Bread, St. Joseph Abbey, St. Benedict, LA 70457. May she rest in peace.
