Branch News Congratulations to all the students who received WPA scholarships this year. Good luck with your studies as you pursue your dreams. For your life insurance or annuity needs, please contact Branch President/ Coordinator Michele Daley- LaFlame at 937-278-5970. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Branch 352 Coraopolis, PA by Dora McKinsey Time is certainly going much faster than I would like it to. The holidays are fast approaching, and if you are like me, holiday shopping has not yet begun. November is the month, of course, that we celebrate Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for. My hope and prayer is that all of us will recognize our blessings and share what we can with those less fortunate. November is also the month of the Branch 352 annual Christmas party for our juvenile members. This year the party is being held on Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Sports Haven Bowling Lanes in Bridgeville from noon to 4:00 p.m. Festivities include bowling for the kids, games, prizes, a delicious lunch and dessert. If you haven't been able to attend in years past, we hope to see you there this year. May you and your family have a very blessed Thanksgiving. If you have any news you would like to share for future articles, please let me know. You can email me at dmckinsey@hotmail.com, or call me at 412-319-7116. Branch 590 Cape Coral, FL by Joan Mauerman Branch 590 hosted a picnic at Gilcrist Park in Punta Gorda, Fla., on Oct. 16. The weather was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We did not have a bacon fry as a lot of our members are on strict diets. We played bingo and a new game—horse racinginvented by Branch President Mike Tomcsak, which was a huge success. I want to thank my daughter Maureen and her husband Bill for helping us set up and clean up. My grandson Brandon was the youngest member attending, and julius Hirsch, 97, was the oldest. Julius still lives by himself and does his own cooking and other chores. He belongs to a singles club whose members consists of three men and 33 women. Brandon had fun feeding the seagulls. Our September meeting was held at the Golden Corral Buffet and Grill in Punta Gorda. It turned out to be a mini-seminar with Branch President Tomcsak explaining in detail the different WPA annuity plans available, as well as the WPA senior and juvenile plans. A question and answer session followed. Get well wishes go out to Pam Damon, Kalman Nagy and Yolan Mickel. We extend our condolences to Roger Nagy and his family on the death of his wife Donna. Our Christmas party will be held To Our Fraternal Family LYDIA R. LUBERGER KILLIAN M. McCANDLISH Branch 14 Cleveland, OH Branch 14 Cleveland, OH MEAH G. NEWBERRY Branch 352 Coraopolis, PA BENJAMIN M.
