Branch 28 Youngstown, OH by Kathy Novak As Memorial Day has gone by and Independence Day is fast approach­ing, we should all take time to reflect on the sacrifices so many made for our country's freedom and liberty. On May 8, Art Szőke traveled to Washington, D.C., along with sev­eral other members of Seabee Island X-8 to participate in the Honor Flight Network, an organization offering free transportation to veterans to visit their memorials. Congratulations to the Rev. Nich­olas Mancim on his 35th anniversary in the priesthood. He serves as pas­tor of St. Stephen of Hungary and Sts. Cyril and Methodius Churches. Many more continued years of good health and dedicated service are wished for him. Best of luck to all the graduates of 2010. Many new doors of opportu­nity are opening for each of you. In May we honored all our beloved mothers. Now, in June, we recognize our endearing fathers. Wishing them all the best. It's so hard to believe we finally have good weather and all kinds of summer activities to look forward to.
