fhe ]{m^\sro Kitchen is time for the column to change once again. Due to space limitations in the magazine, The HK covers only two pages each month. Therefore, I cannot expand on a subject with as much detailed information as I would like AND provide many recipes as well. During the past year, I have tried to reach a balance of cooking info and recipes so you, the reader, would reap all the benefits. In the process, "Culinary Corner," "Practical Pointer" and "Chef's Tip" have been absent from The HK. Overall, I have been trying to give you the best and still maintain appearances of business as usual. Unfortunately, it has not worked and in order to keep The Hungarian Kitchen in print, I must go back to the drawing board and come up with another approach of meeting the needs of you, my faithful readers. It will not be easy, but the rewards of finding a solution far outweigh doing nothing at all. I ask for your patience during this period of change. One more thing I want to mention is involvement and commitment to the WPA. Now, more than ever, the William Penn Association needs the support of its members on the branch level to make it through these challenging times. By supporting branch activities and our national events as well, you are providing a foundation upon which our Association can build our membership. If you have not told anyone about the William Penn Association, now is the time to do so. If you want more to happen on a branch level, now is the time to speak up. If I can help your cause in anyway, do not hesitate to contact my fellow Board members or me. We are all here to help the William Penn Association grow and prosper for years to come. In the restaurant business, a chef is only as good as the last meal he serves. With the William Penn Association, we are only as strong as our membership. Let us all work harder in 2010 to make the WPA the shining star of the Hungarian community! Jé fögzaJÍá&s ßt*a. "The Hungarian Kitchen" is a trademark of William S. Vasvary.
