The Rev. Barnabas Kiss, pastor of Holy Cross Hungarian Catholic Church in Detroit, receives congratulations on the 30th anniversary of his ordination from Barbara A. House, vice chairman of the WPA Board. during her recent convalescence. She has had a tough fight, but, so far, we're winning. Thanks, Mom and Rudy, for all your help. Please remember in your prayers our deceased members and their families, especially John Pastor, Rebecca Brenner, Albert Horvath, Helen Kish, Margaret Paul and John Urban. May they rest in peace. Happy birthday to all our special members. I have learned the hard way to not mention names. Can't win. May you all have many more. Haven't noticed Kay Momtsios for a while. We want her to know her help is appreciated. Special good wishes to Darlene Gergely and Sandra Rea. What a joy to meet you. All our members here at Branch 18 are super. Please remember the WPFA Scholarship Foundation. Without your help, we would not be able to award as many scholarship grants as we do. We would love to hear from those of you who have received grants and are now in the working world. You know how much it was appreciated. You could also remember us in your will. No donation is too big or too small. Happy Summer everyone. Enjoy the heat. It certainly has arrived here with gusto.
