Branch 19 New Brunswick, NJ by Evelyn Bodnar WPA Branch 19 New Brunswick held its annual Christmas party on Dec. 10 at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church in New Brunswick. In attendance were over 15 children, parents and friends. The group had a delicious meal and wonderful desserts! The children were treated to a visit from Santa and shared their wishes with him. All the children received presents from the William Penn Association and the church. The flying discs and light up fans were a huge hit! After Santa's visit, the children were entertained by "Petals" the clown. As always, the children thank WPA for the generous gift of a lovely Christmas party. Following the party, the election of branch officers for 2007 was held. The current officers were re-elected: Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Bodnar, president; Ruth Vasvary, vice president; Evelyn Bodnar, secretary-treasurer; and Burt Suldo and Jennifer Orlick, auditors. Branch 19 wishes all of its' members a happy and healthy new year! Branch 28 Youngstown, OH by Kathy Novak Flappy Valentines Day. Hoping all our readers have recuperated from the hustle and bustle of the holidays and are happily awaiting the arrival of the warm glow of spring soon to be here. Oops—forgot to thank Branch 28's photographer for providing the photos in last month's publication. Thanks to Frank Schauer. Congratulations to several special people this month. First, what a wonderful and welldeserved honor for Endre Csornán to be named the Fratemalist of the Year by the Pennsylvania Fraternal Congress. Mr. Csornán is always there, serving silently without a need for recognition for the many activities he participates in. He has been justly rewarded and honored. We are grateful to be able to call him our friend. Well done, Mr. Csornán! Secondly, a special pat on the back for Richard Sarosi on being selected as Fraternal MVP for the week of Nov. 6,2006, by the National Fraternal Congress of America. Richard is very active in the Cleveland Hungarian community as well as within the WPA on many levels. Plus, he is always there for his family. Congratulations, Richard! Congratulations also go to Air Force Capt. Kris Kripchak (and all his family members) on receiving the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. Kris was a flight commander and lead meteorologist while stationed at the Elemondorf Air Force Base in Alaska. While there, he aided in the guiding of weather forecasters for 19 rescue missions, of William Penn Life, February 2007 15
