Our Lady of the Rosary. We would have never come this far without Father Holloran's vision, hope and inspiration. We hold a special place in our hearts for Father. We thank him for all the support and participation he gives to the WPA. St. Stephen Parish is the host for all WPA activities. We wish him good health as he continues to work as our pastor and guide for years to come. Congratulations, Father Holloran! Branch 590 Cape Coral, FL by Joan Mauerman Branch 590 held a meeting May 2 at the Harborview Yacht Club. Our next meeting will be held Sept. 13 at the same location. Thirty people attended our May meeting which was held in conjunc­tion with a special meeting to elect delegates from our district to the General Convention. After the meet­ing, we enjoyed a luncheon of chicken, potato salad, pierogies, baked beans and pastries. Bingo was played and door prizes were passed out. Happy birthday to Sarina Mauer­man, Maren Tomcsak, Mickey Tomcsak, Jordan Hopper, Norah MacEgan, Karsen Damon, Jeff Damon, Alexia Moody, Jackson Damon, Austin Damon, Cassidy Dues and Lizzie Wright. Wedding anniversary congratula­tions to Lizzie and Steve Wright, Kim and Colin Hughes, Elsie and Frank Radvany and Betty and A1 Vargo. At the Plant City dinner June 10, the Rt. Rev. Király Zoltán, former pastor of the Magyar Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Fla., was busy signing copies of his recently pub­lished biography. Branch News Branch 800 Altoona, PA by Vincent Frank Congratulations to Michael Timothy Dodson II, this year's recipient of Branch 800's monetary award. This award is given to the male graduating senior with the highest grades in religion class at Bishop Guilfoyle High School in Altoona. The school appreciates the branch's interest in continuing to present this award. Michael is a member of the Cathe­dral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona where he helped with CCD classes. He completed his elementary education at Pleasant Valley and St. Mary's School in Altoona. At Bishop Guilfoyle, Michael was a member of the National Honor Society and completed 25 hours of commu­nity service each year. He also participated in fencing. Graduation ceremonies were held May 31 at the cathedral with the Most Rev. Joseph V. Adamec, bishop of the Altoona/Johnstown Diocese as celebrant. Michael is presently working at the local Sheetz store. His hobbies include working on computers, coin collecting and attending Altoona Curve baseball games. He will begin classes this fall at Penn State Univer­sity-Altoona where he will major in criminal justice. He wishes to work for the Federal Bureau of Investiga­tion. The best of everything to Michael and all those graduating this year. In other branch news, Branch Secretary George Dorman is celebrat­ing his 85th birthday. Over these many years he has been devoted to his duties and has been an inspira­tion to us all. May God continue to bless you with good health. Congratulations to branch member Msgr. Thomas K.
