The WPA and the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America were presented the "Friends of the Neighborhood" award, recognizing their many years of supporting the Festival. I have attended all but one year. I can not believe how many people do not know about this event. It is a festival that covers many blocks and includes all faiths. It is held on the third Sunday of August as close to Szent István Nap as possible. Please mark your calendars for 2007. The Festival features some of the best food and vendors you'll ever encounter. Thank you, Endre and Arlene Csornán, for all your hard work. Thanks also to Bob Ivancso for your many years of involvement. It is a huge job. Thank you for keeping our heritage alive.
