PITTSBURGH - The deadline for participating in the WPA 62nd Annual Bowling Tournament and Scholarship Days is fast approaching. The tournament and scholarship days events will be held May 27 to 29 in Taylor, Mich., just outside of Detroit. Entry forms for both the adult tournament and the Ninth Annual Juvenile Fun Event, as well as a reservation form for the Bowling Tournament Awards Dinner, can be found on Pages 17 to 19 of this issue. PITTSBURGH - The WPA and Magyar Marketing are teaming up again to sponsor two trips to Hungary this year, one in May and another in September. The first trip, "Treasures of Folk Arts and Gastronomy in Hungary," leaves May 25 and returns June 4. It includes visits to Budapest, Pápa, Sárvár, Herend, Tihany, Pécs, Kalocsa, Kiskunhalas, Szeged, Hódmezővásárhely, Debrecen, Máriapócs, the Reformed churches of Eastern Hungary, Eger and the Domony Valley. Cost is $2,850 per person. The second tour, "A Touch of Hungary and Transylvania," lives up to its name. Leaving Sept. 25 and returning Oct. 7, this tour will include Adult bowling entry forms are due at the Home Office by April 15. Juvenile Fun Event forms are due April 20. Awards Dinner reservation forms are due May 4. All hotel reservations must be made directly with the Holiday Inn in Southgate, Mich., the headquarters for this year's tournament.
