Branch News Branch 14 Branch 18 Cleveland, OH Lincoln Park, MI by Dawn D. Ward Branch 14 will hold its first meeting of 2005, on Wednesday, March 2, at the First Hungarian Reformed Church, 14530 Alexander Road, Walton Hills, Ohio, at 7:30 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend this meeting to help plan this year's social activities agenda. During the week of July 9 to 15, Branch 14 member Tony Galioto, and his baseball team, the Vipers, will have the privilege of competing in a national baseball tournament in Cooperstown, New York. This team of 12-year-old boys will experience an Olympic-style setting, where they will stay in dormitories, trade home-town pins with other competitors from across the United States, and make a visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The Vipers are based in Mentor, Ohio and have compiled an awesome record of 75 wins and only 16 losses over the last two years. Last year they finished in third place in the entire state of Ohio. Tony is the son of Theresa and Tony Galioto, and the grandson of former WPA Board of Directors member, Steve Lesco and his wife Betty. Branch 14 welcomes the following new members: Cheryl Altemose, Adrianna Duarte, Jenna Leonard, Anthony Morello, and Paul Varga. These new members were all referred by current WPA members who will be "cashing in" thanks to our Recommender Program! Please contact Jeff Ward at 440-838-1200 with the names of any potential new members. With tax season upon us, we encourage you to take advantage of the William Penn Association's wonderful IRA programs, including traditional, Roth, rollover, and transfer IRA's.
