Branch News Branch 18 member Ashley Haas was proud and happy to serve at the Confirmation services held recently at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. Celebrants at the service were the Rt. Rev. Wendell N. Gibbs Jr., tenth bishop of Michigan (right), and the Rev. Gene E. Curry. Wishing my mom bon voyage on her trip to Hungary. As usual, I know she will have a great time. I wish I could be going as well. Maybe next year. Our condolences to Rocky and Emma Borsa. Rocky's son Stephen was killed in a car accident in Texas. The Borsas have had more than their share of heartbreak this past year. We will remember them in our prayers. We love you both very much. Get well wishes to Sharon Olson, daughter of WPA Vice Chairman of the Board A1 and Betty Vargo. Sharon has a very serious illness. We can only hope that by this time she is well on the road to recovery. We will pray for them. Ashley Haas is one very happy, proud and lucky altar server.
