Kotik, a member of Branch 8020 McKees Rocks, Pa., was recently sworn in as the newest member of the WPA Board of Directors. Mr. Kotik took the oath of office from Board Chairman Steve Varga during the Board's June meeting. Mr. Kotik, 54, is currently serving his second full term as a member of the Pennyslvania House of Represen­tatives. Prior to his election, he served as assistant to Pa. State Rep. Fred Trello and also as the township manager for the Township of Robinson. Kotik has held elected office as a borough controller and two-term council member and has received many appointments, includ­ing president of the McKees Rocks Planning Commission, member of the ‘Experience’ a sell-o PITTSBURGH — Organizers of the WPA's first-ever Hungarian Heritage Experience recently announced that the event is sold out. All 25 openings for the Experience have been reserved, but the Home Office is still accepting names for a "waiting list" should an opening become available. The Experience—a week-long event offering an array of educational and Sto-Rox Bicentennial Committee, and ordinance officer and treasurer for McKees Rocks Borough. Currently, Kotik serves on the Robinson Township Emergency Medical Services Board. He is actively involved in the local community as a member of the McKees Rocks Devel­opment Corporation and the McKees Rocks Lions Club. After receiving a bachelor's degree in public administration from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1972, Mr. Kotik went on to work for Allegheny County as a payroll accountant, municipal representative and property assessor. Mr. Kotik resides in Robinson Township, Pa., with his wife, Shirley, and two stepchildren, Tara and Darrell. t for first year social programs all focusing on the language, culture and history of Hrmgary—will be held at Penn Scenic View in Rockwood, Pa., Aug. 7 to 13.
