Think spring and bowling tournament. Branch 26 Sharon, PA by Gerry Davenport On Dec. 13, Branch 26 held its family Christmas party at Neatfeat Roller Skating Rink in Grove City, Pa. It was surprising to see so many adults put on roller skates and dance to the music right along with the kids. The evening was topped off by a pizza party complete with Christmas cookies, delicious brownies and other homemade desserts. Jolly Old St. Nick (Jimmy Tew) made his appearance and was the highlight of the evening. The children, as well as a few adults, sat on Santa's lap and told him what they wished to receive on Christmas Day. All the children then received goodie bags filled with treats donated by the Home Office. Santa's elves- Alexandra Tew, Harley Tew, Nicolette McDonough and Jordan Thompson—also distributed a special gift to each child from the branch. Many thanks to the WPA National Officers and Directors for their financial assistance and promotional items. I would like to especially thank Branch President Glenn Davenport for putting all his time and effort into making this function a special evening for all in attendance. A brief branch meeting and election was held after the festivities. Reelected as branch officers for 2004 were: Glenn Davenport, president; Susan Robison, vice president; and Gerry Davenport, secretary-treasurer. Branch 26 would like to extend wishes to all WPA members for a happy new year. Branch 28 Youngstown, OH by Kathy Novak Happy Valentine's Day to all our members.
