Branch News Branch 8 Johnstown, PA by Dorothy Kedves We held our annual election of officers at our branch's Nov. 30 meeting. Elected were: Sándor J. Yuhas, president; Ernest W. Kedves, vice president; David S. Kozak, treasurer; Dorothy Kedves, secretary; and Mary Groshans and Elaine Engle, auditors. Congratulations to all the officers. After the meeting, the annual Christmas party was held. The children and their parents arrived at 2:00 p.m. in spite of the cold and windy weather. Santa came in with his "Ho! Ho! Ho!" and the children were excited. All the children enjoyed the gifts from the Home Office, especially the crazy balls and flashlights. Santa had a coloring contest and listened to the requests of the children. Ernest Kedves provided the Christmas music, and a delicious lunch and goodies were served. All enjoyed the wonderful get-together. A special thank you goes to the Home Office for the special gifts and calendars. We hope all our members enjoyed a blessed Christmas. May all have a healthy, happy new year. For servicing your insurance and annuity needs, please contact Sándor J. Yuhas at 814-255-1123. Branch 13 Trenton, NJ by Elsie H. (Not pictured: Joseph Hamari, vice president..) season was filled with plenty of family, food and fellowship. Speaking of the holiday season, Branch 14 hosted the largest family Christmas party in our long history. One hundred sixteen children and their families enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon, which included a puppet show, face painting by "Sparkles the Clown", a delicious buffet lunch and, of course, the yearly visit from good old Saint Nick. Special thanks to all Branch 14 special "elves" who helped with purchasing the gifts, serving the food and generally making the party the success it was. Speaking of success, Branch 14 is proud to recognize juvenile member Brianna Martinez who is making quite a name for herself on the local soccer scene. Bri is a sophomore at Walsh Jesuit High School and was the star of her school's Division I district championship game victory 14 Williu Pen Life, January 2004
