Convention Update The General Convention-the WPA’s governing body-will convene Sept. I -3, 2003, in Pittsburgh. In preparation for this important event, the WPA recently announced the establishment of the Convention’s Delegate Districts. It is from these Delegate Districts that the Convention’s elected delegates will be chosen. These elected delegates are charged with the duty of representing the members in their district, ensuring those members’ voices are heard as the Association makes decisions which will affect its activities over the next four years. Which Delegate District has your branch been assigned to? Find out by turning to Pages 22 and 23 of this issue. To learn how Delegate Districts are created, see Page 21. And, be sure to check the April issue of the William Penn Life to learn when and where your Delegate District elections will be held. 2 Williu Pen Life, March 2003
