BOSO, SECONDED BY NATIONAL AUDITING COMMITTEE MEMBER JOSEPH HAMARI AND THE GENERAL CONVEN­TION ACCEPTED THE MINUTES AS READ. 48. Ralph F. Manning, Esquire/Extends Greetings. Ralph F. Manning, Esquire, General Counsel for the William Penn Association extended sincere greetings and remarks to the Convention. He proceeded to install the newly elected National Directors and National Auditing Committee members. 49. Chairman Beke/Guests Introduced. Chairman Beke introduced visiting guests seated in the gallery. 50. Convention/Recessed. Chairman Beke recessed the Convention so the newly elected Board of Directors could meet for a short meeting. 51. Convention/ Reconvened. Chairman Anthony C. Beke reconvened the Convention. 52. Chairman of the Board/Announced. National President George S. Charles, Jr. informed the delegates that the Board of Directors elected Stephen J. Varga, Chairman of the Board, E. E. (Al) Vargo and Elmer W. Toth as Vice Chairman of the Board. He further reported that Frank J. Radvany was appointed Secretary of the Board. 53. Board of Directors/Announce Elections. (AL) VARGO AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION: BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE DELEGATES IN THE 35TM GENERAL CONVENTION APPROVE AND ACCEPT THE REPORT OF THE NATIONAL OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND RATIFY THE ACTIONS OF THE NATIONAL OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE YEARS 1999 THROUGH 2003. 57.
