Chairman Beke/Nominations/Alternate National Auditing Committee. Chairman Beke requested three (3) times for any further nominations from the floor for Alternate National Auditing Committee. There being none. MOVED BY VICE CHAIRMAN E. E. (AL) VARGO, SECONDED BY DELEGATE RONALD S. BALLA AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION CLOSED NOMINATIONS FOR ALTERNATE NATIONAL AUDITING COMMITTEE. 27. Convention Secretary / Unanimous Ballot/ Authorized. MOVED BY PRESIDENT GEORGE S. CHARLES, JR., SECONDED BY DIRECTOR MICHAEL F. TOMCSAK AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION AUTHORIZED THE CONVENTION SECRETARY TO CAST THE UNANIMOUS BALLOT FOR THE ELECTION OF THE ALTERNATE NATIONAL AUDITING COMMITTEE. 28. Chairman Beke/Nominees for Various Offices to Rise. Chairman Beke requested all the nominees for the various offices to rise before the General Convention for recognition. 29. Chairman Beke/Election/Tellers Committee/ Excused. Chairman Beke excused the members of the Election/Tellers Committee at this time so they may prepare the ballots for voting. 30. Chairman Beke/ Robert E. Bruce, Actuary/ Introduced. Chairman Beke introduced Robert E. Bruce, Actuary of Bruce and Bruce Company for the William Penn Association for the actuarial report. 31. Robert E. Bruce, Actuary/Thank You. Mr. Bruce thanked the Assembly for the opportunity to appear before the Convention. He proceeded to review his report page by page. Mr. Bruce extended congratulations to the Officers and Board of Directors for the outstanding growth of the Association these past four years. The Association continues its history of outstanding financial performance and the members of the Association fear not of investing in the William Penn Association. The Association continues to be in a strong, sound financial condition. 32. Chairman Beke/Point of Order. During Mr. Bruce's report, Chairman Beke interrupted Mr. Bruce's talk with a Point of Order. Chairman Beke reported that two (2) names were withdrawn for the Alternate National Directors ballot and only one name was added to Alternate National Directors ballot. Therefore, one other name must be added to fill the slate of twelve (12) Alternate National Directors. 33. Point 26/Retracted. MOVED BY VICE CHAIRMAN E. E. (AL) VARGO, SECONDED BY DIRECTOR BARBARA A. HOUSE AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION RETRACTED POINT 26, WHICH CLOSED THE NOMINATIONS FOR ALTERNATE NATIONAL DIRECTOR. 34. Chairman Beke/ Nominations/ Alternate National Director. Chairman Beke asked for nominations for one (1) Alternate National Director. Director Stephen J. Varga nominated Walter Huthansel for Alternate National Director. Walter Huthansel accepted the nomination. MOVED BY DELEGATE ROGER G. NAGY, SECONDED BY NATIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER STEPHEN MÉSZÁROS AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION AUTHORIZED TO CLOSE NOMINATIONS FOR ALTERNATE NATIONAL DIRECTOR AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION AUTHORIZED THE CONVENTION SECRETARY TO CAST THE UNANIMOUS BALLOT FOR THE ELECTION OF THE TWELVE (12) ALTERNATE NATIONAL DIRECTORS. 35. Robert E. Bruce, Actuary/Report/Accepted. MOVED BY DIRECTOR BERO, SECONDED BY DIRECTOR McNELIS AND THE GENERAL CONVENTION ACCEPTED THE REPORT OF THE ACTUARY WITH SINCERE THANKS AND APPRECIATION. 36. Chairman Beke/Instructions/Voting. Chairman Beke gave the necessary instructions regarding the voting process and recessed the Convention until approximately 5:00 P.M. for the purpose of voting and have the votes tallied. 37. Richard W. Toth, National V.P./Secretary/ Delegates/Voting. National V.P./Secretary Richard W. Toth commenced to call the Delegates by name and table number to vote. 38. Chairman Beke/Convention/Reconvened. Chairman Beke reconvened the Convention. 39. Chairman Beke/Greetings. Chairman Beke extended greetings and introduced additional visitors seated in the gallery. 40. National V.P./Secretary/ Delegate Rev. Peter J. Toth/ Arrival. National V.P./Secretary Richard W. Toth announced that Delegate Rev. Peter J. Toth has arrived late and will participate in the balance of the Convention. 41. Chairman Beke/George S. Charles, Jr./Chairman of Election/Teller's Committee. Chairman Beke recognized National President George S. Charles, Jr., Chairman of Election/Teller's Committee for his report. 42.
