A greeting card or a gift of your choosing is most appreciated on this "expression-of-love" day that we celebrate. We are getting ready to begin the Lenten season which begins this year on Feb. 13, Ash Wednesday. The 40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter are observed by Christians throughout the world as a time of fasting and penance. It's a good time to reflect on our own spiritual life, especially in the aftermath of that dark day of great loss, Sept. 11. The WPA will celebrate its Founders Day on Feb. 21. Just imagine—the WPA has been serving its members throughout the U.S.A. for 116 years. Congratulations to all of you and the Home Office staff. Congratulations also to all Branch 800 members who have recently celebrated-or will soon be celebrating-birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Let me know if you wish to share this news with our members. It's time to dig out your insurance policies and see if the beneficiaries listed are correct. Maybe some of the beneficiaries on your policies have passed away or there has been an addition to your family who you want to share in your policy's benefits. Don't procrastinate: make any changes now. Give Bob Jones a call at (814) 942-2661. He can help make any changes to your beneficiaries or answer questions you may have regarding WPA insurance and annuity plans. Branch 800 Altoona, PA by Vincent Frank Happy Valentine's Day to all!
