tk "The William Penn Association has become more relevant and more important with each passing year.” Thanks to you, our fraternal flame continues to burn brightly by George S. Charles, Jr., FIC On Feb. 21, 2002, our Association will celebrate its 116th anniversary. As we celebrate this milestone, we pay special tribute to the 13 dedicated founders of the William Penn Association and all of the past and present officers, directors, auditors, employees, sales representatives and members that devoted so much of their lives to building our Association that is shared by all of us today, with so much pride and fond memories. Your dedication, loyalty and commitment to our goals are based on our many years of progress generated by thousands of dedicated people who were determined to move forward. Our continued objective is to build fraternal programs at the local and national levels that will attract prospective members to our organizations. We also have an obligation to continue to promote leadership skills so as to ensure a bright future for our Association. All of us realize how important it is that our youth be given a chance to possess leadership skills. By helping and promoting our members, we are helping to better our Association. Our Association has been fortunate in that we have many members of all ages involved in our many programs and activities. I have been associated with the WPA since birth and have had the privilege of working for the Association for over 28 years. Over those years, I have seen the potential within our membership. It is truly an honor and privilege to be able to serve you and the WPA. It is inspiring to know that our Association realizes the importance of family and will continue to support the family and family values. On behalf of my wife Dianne and son Steve, as a family and members, we salute the William Penn Association. Our product portfolio is comparable with the commercial insurance industry, and it is constantly being updated to meet the changing needs of our entire membership. Our administration is prepared to meet the many new challenges which lie ahead. The William Penn Association has become more relevant and more important with each passing year. You can be rightfully proud of our Association's achievements. As we celebrate another anniversary, we look forward to the opportunities given to our membership by our Association through the many benefits and products we offer our existing and prospective members. As we move forward, our Association and all those who serve it will continued to dedicate ourselves to you. Our fraternal spirit is still glowing like the spirit in the hearts of the founders of our Association more than 116 years ago. William Penn Lile, February 2002
