Branch News we appreciate your support and enjoyed your company very much. Thank you for all the wonderful food and desserts you shared. Thank you, Bill Bero, for the bacon and kolbász— it was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all. A special thanks to the branch officers and members for your hard work in cleaning the church, preparing food and cleaning up afterward. It is your dedication that makes these events possible. Many of the members at our bacon roast also attended and volunteered at the second annual WPA picnic held at Penn Scenic View on Sept. 14. What a fantastic day! It was a wonderful opportunity to rekindle old friendships and to make new ones. Thank you to the over 700 people, from near and far, who attended and enjoyed the delicious homemade food, hayrides, music by Dorothy and Company and the fraternal spirit — all in the spectacular setting of Penn Scenic View. Fratemalism was in action as many, many volunteers gave of their time and talent to make the day the success that it was. Congratulations to Endre Csornán for coordinating this event and to his wonderful volunteers, who worked tirelessly to achieve a successful picnic. You all did a great job! Thank you so much! Heartfelt get well wishes are extended to Chad Balia, Irene Charles, Julia Christopher, Sue Molnár, Jennie Wislie and Elsie Drab, who underwent a knee operation on Oct. 17.
