CHARLES W. BOSO GROVE CITY, OH ~ The members of Branch 129 Columbus and the entire Association were saddened by the recent death of Charles W. Boso, a longtime member, former branch officer and husband of National Auditing Committee member Marga­ret Boso. Mr. Boso, 75, passed away on Dec. 14, 2000. After graduating from Columbus South High School, Mr. Boso went to work in his family's auto repair business. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Nashville. He joined the Columbus Division of Fire where he retired as a captain, and continued to work in the family business. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Arline, sister Dorothy, and son Brad. In addition to Margaret, his wife of 50 years, he is survived by three daughters, Patty Boso, Debbie Lewis and Diane Walker; three sons, Charles Jr., Mike and Chris; a daughter-in-law, Sally; nine grandchildren, Renee, Jimmy, Ryan, David, Lindsay, Ashley, Amy, Nick and Holly; seven brothers, Bob, Ralph, Don, Jimmy, Jack, Gene and Carl; three sisters, Arline, Rosan and Loretta. A memorial servvice was held Dec. 16 at the Schoedinger-Norris Chapel, Grove City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, OH 43221, or the American Diabetes Association, 937 High St., Worthington, OH 43085. May he rest in peace. DAVID I. GEORGE COLUMBUS, OH-The members of Branch 129 Columbus and the entire Association were saddened by the recent death of David I. George, father of National Auditing Committee member Margaret Boso. Mr. Boso, 95, passed away on Dec. 15,2000. A longtime member of the Association, Mr. George was the former manager of the Verhovay Club in Columbus. He was bom in Pécs, Hungary, and immigrated to America with his family in 1907. The family returned to Hungary, and Mr. George eventually came back to the U.S. permanently in 1921, ultimately settling in Colum­bus. Mr. George worked for 46 years for the Holton-Miller family as caretaker of properties. He was preceded in death by his parents György Josef and Telek Juliana, and his wife of 66 years, Margaret Fabian George. In addition to his daughter Margaret, he is survived by a brother, Joe; a sister, Julia Erdy; a sister-in-law, Theresa Juhasz; a son, David of New Jersey; a daughter, Velma Nadalin; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Dec. 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Grove City. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cem­etery.
