If you don't get one, let me know. All members are invited. We will have food, games, music and prizes. If you want anything alcoholic to drink, please B.Y.O.B. in a non­glass container. Hope to see many members there. Nice to see so many members at the Lakatos concert in Hazelwood. Wasn't it a magnificent show? Special hello to Walter and Margaret Bugielski. So nice to see you. Thanks for the pictures. I loved them. Special thanks to Emilia Blair and Bill Imry for their help at Veterans Hospital. Many thanks also to Bill for getting all those members to our meetings. Without you it would not happen. Thank you, Frances Tressic, for choosing the WPA. It was wonderful to speak to you. Congratulations to Carol and Doug Truesdell on their new grand­son Michael, a new WPA member. Congratulations also to La Verne Exner, a very proud grandmother. Her granddaughter Janice graduated magna cum laude from U. of M. Super! Welcome, Endre and Arlene Csornán, to the WPA family. Great to have you aboard. Congratulations to Mandy and Donny on the great news. A new WPA member in January. Condolences to all our deceased members' families, especially the families of Mary Barna and John Segedy. Remember also Helen and András Breznai on the death of their son John. You are in our prayers. Thanks to my mom, Irene Korpák, for packing all the soap and wash cloths for our Operation Christmas Child (OCC) campaign. She also made six boxes. Thanks also for doing our picnic invites. Thanks most of all for baby sitting Gabby all those many times we're gone. We love you. Thanks to all your Branch 18 officers for selling all those raffle tickets. You did a super job. I hope some winners of that raffle at the Annual Bowling Tournament were from Michigan. Genevieve Molnár dropped off a whole bag of goodies for our OCC drive. Many are hand made. She did this many times last year. Thank you very much. Get well to all our members, especially Anna Nagy, Gizella Ressler and Helen Fekete. Get well also to my special friend, Vice Chairman of the Board Lou Fodor. Enough already. Happy birthday to my brother Joe Gall. I love you. Also to Betty Hol­guin, Victor Bomora, Joe Baranyi, Gerry Davenport, Frank Radvany, Debbie Evans, Bob Kapinus and Father Angelus. May you all celebrate many more. Here are upcoming events that may be of interest to you: • The Hungarian American Cultural Center's Gypsy Festival, Aug. 12. Music, entertainment, booths, food and refreshments. Cost is $5 per person. • St. Stephen Day Mass and dinner, Aug. 19 at Holy Cross Hun­garian Catholic Church. Mass begins at 10:30 a.m. • St. Stephen Festival, Aug. 19, Toledo, Ohio. This is a giant festival that goes on for blocks. Please support these events. Our Soaring Eagle trip will be held Oct. 28 to 29. Cost to members is $25. Non-members pay $125. The fee is non-refundable. Our group will be limited to the first 40 people who pay their fee. As you know, Soaring Eagle is a five-star hotel.
