58th Annual Bowling Tournament teams and bowlers who won prizes during tournament events, turn to Pages 10 and 11. You can add to the list of winners the nine people who took home prizes during the raffle drawn at Saturday's bowling awards dinner. Lilianne Kelly of Branch 352 Coraopolis, Pa., won first prize, a 19- inch Curtis Mathes color television. The evenings big winner was National Director Andrew W. McNelis who took home the "treasure chest" awarded to the winner of this year's auction raffle. What was inside the chest? $1,000 cash! We thank everyone who worked to make this event another great fraternal success. To name everyone who contributed time, effort, baked goods, raffle and Chinese auction prizes or other services, we would have to print a special edition. We offer special thanks to our bowlers-adults and children-for your participation and support. We nope to see you all next year. Uffl, | I’d rather be lucky than good They call it the Lucky Strike Contest for a good reason: it takes no small amount of luck to roll a strike when money’s on the line. This year, only two bowlers-Andy Feyes (center) and National Director Barbara A. House (right)-were lucky enough to roll a strike during the contest Each rolled their strike during the third game of Saturday’s team event pocketing an extra $300 each. Stephen J. Varga (left), national director and tournament co-administrator, presented the prizes to the winners. ball rol We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the 69 individuals, branches, groups and businesses listed below who sponsored lanes for this year’s bowling tournament. Because of their generosity, another $ 1.725.1 was raised for the benefit of our Scholarship Foundation. A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. (jack Kelly) A. G.
