Please pray for the eternal rest of our departed members and friends. FRANK M. PAPP AKRON, OH - Frank M. Papp, affectionately known throughout northeastern Ohio as "The Pepper King," died June 17,2000, in his home. He was 87. Mr. Papp was a longtime member of the WPA, first as a member of Branch 44 Akron and later of Branch 590 Cape Coral, Fla. He was the founder and operator of Papp's Pickled Peppers Cannery in Suffield, Ohio until his son, Frank J. Papp, took over the business in 1980. He visited the cannery the day he died. He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary, in 1967, and Anna, in 1993, and his brothers Ernie and Paul Papp. In addition to his son, he is survived by five daughters, Mary Ann Kozma of Akron, Rose Herdon of Akron, Charlotte Gilbride of Tallmadge, Ohio, Theresa Evans of Akron, and Gina House of Irvine, Calif.; stepchildren, Kathleen Nagy of Hungary and Alex Jango of Florida; a sister, Elsie Neidert of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; 28 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Akron. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery. May he rest in peace. JULY 2000 0001 BRIDGEPORT, CT Anne B.
