Chairmen for the events, to be held May 21 to 23 in New Brunswick, are Nicholas M. Salgo, former U.S. ambassador to Hungary, and John J. Heldrich, retired vice president of Johnson & Johnson. Joining Mr. Hrabar as honorary chairmen are: H. E. Géza Jeszenszky, ambassador of the Republic of Hungary; James M. Cahill, mayor of New Brunswick; Dr. Bryant L. Cureton, president of Elmhurst College; George Dózsa, president of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America; Dr. Robert E. Fuisz; Dr. Francis L. Senators Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D­­Del.) and William Roth Jr. (R-Del.), along with Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sonny Callahan (R-Ala.), were cited for their "leader­ship in this region of the world." The ceremony was sponsored by the Central and East European Coalition. The Coalition comprises 19 national organizations which pro­mote awareness and understanding of issues involving the various countries located in Central and Eastern Europe. The CEEC was one of the leading proponents of the recent NATO expansion. Trust fund to support AHF programs NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Dr. Lajos Schmidt, a member of the American Hungarian Foundation's Board of Directors, has established a $400,000 trust fund to benefit the Foundation.
