Wreaths were also placed at the two flag poles in the courtyard of the American Hungarian Foundation, the foot of the Cardinal Mindszenty statue and the 1956 Hungarian Freedom Fighters Monument. Congratulations to Meagan Mirkovich on her graduation from Bryant College in Smithfield, R.I. Meagan graduated summa cum laude with a degree in applied actuarial math. She is the daughter of National Director George F. and Michaelene Mirkovich and the granddaughter of National Director Michael and Ann Hrabar. Branch 34 Pittsburgh, PA by Andy McNelis I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at the golf tournament at Blackmoor Golf Club in Ohio. Congratulations to the winners and to all who took part in this weekend of fraternal activities. Thanks to the Home Office staff and all of the spotters for their help. With the swift approach of the Convention, we all must look toward the future: the future of each branch and our Association as a whole. We are the William Penn Association. Special congratulations to Branch 34 member Beth Marie Primm who was married June 19,1999, to David Henke at St. Rosalia Church in Greenfield, Pa. The happy couple then honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Beth is the daughter of Dan and Janet Primm and the granddaughter of Michael and Margaret Stefan. Beth recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in Philadelphia. In September she will begin working for the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockus. Good luck to both Beth and David. Birthday wishes for the months of June and July go out to Maria Vámos, Walter Bugielski, Yvonne and Nicole Mayor, Michael R. Two teams represented Branch 129. Our member, John Horvath, won the senior men's low gross title and the closest to the pin on the big hole-inone hole. He won a total of $600 for his efforts. His wife, Dolores, had the longest drive among women ages 18 to 59. She won $50. It was a very hard golf course, but everyone had a 17
