McKEESPORT, PA — The members of Branch 226 McKeesport were deeply saddened by the recent death of Branch President Emeritus Louis L. Sieben Jr. Mr. Sieben, 89, died March 5, 1995, in Homestead Emergency and Family Medicine Center. For more than 20 years he guided the activities of his branch as its president and served as a delegate to many General Conventions. He passed on his dedication to the William Penn to his five grandchildren and nine greatgreatchildren, all of whom he insured through the Association. He played the role of Santa Claus at many Branch 226 Christmas parties, and, even though very ill, he attended and enjoyed the party held in 1994. He was born in McKeesport on June 3, 1905, the son of the late Louis and Mary Siebert. He was a general manager at the H.B. Klein Clothing Store for 46 years and was an oblate at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. A member of St. Stephen’s Church, he sang in the church’s choir and was a member of its Holy Name Society. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Winter Siebert. In addition to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he is survived by two daughters, Anna Mae Rietski of White Oak, Pa., and Patricia Brusco of Clairton, Pa.. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 8 by the Rev. Stephen Kato at St. Stephen’s Church, with interment in New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles, Pa. May he rest in peace.
