Guides in ethnic dress will take guests through each of the 24 Nationality Rooms, which will be decorated in the holiday tradi­tions of each country represen­ted. The day will also feature performances of ethnic Christ­mas customs plus booths where guests may buy ethnic food and handmade crafts. Admission for the day is free. Guided tours will also be of­fered from Dec. 5 to 23. The rooms are open weekdays 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission for these tours is $2 for adults, $1 for senior citizens, 50 cents for children 8 to 18 and free for children under 8. Please note that on weekdays while the university is in session, only partial tours may be avail­able as some of the rooms will be in use for classes and exams. Admission for partial tours is 50 cents. Tours will also be offered Dec. 26 to 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The rooms will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and 31 and Jan. 1. Dr. Francis Vitéz (center), bishop of the Hungarian Reformed Church, receives a gift from the Rev. Charles Limpar (right), pastor of the United Church of Christ of Springdale, Pa., and Waiter Severa, treasurer of the church. The presentation was made Oct. 23 during a banquet celebrating the church’s 85th anniversary. Seventy-five guests attended the banquet which was preceded by a special service at the church.
