He has dedicated years of service to the New Jersey Jay cess on a local, state and national level. He was state editor of the Jaycees New Jersey monthly magazine. Founded in 1954, the American Hungarian Foundation is devoted to furthering the understanding and appreciation of the Hungarian cultural heritage in the United States. The Foundation opened the Hungarian Heritage Center in New Brunswick in 1989, where it maintains an extensive archival and museum collection dealing with the history of Hungarians and their contributions to American life since colonial days. Trade conference set for June 8-10 NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Business leaders from the United States and Hungary will gather June 8 to 10 for the Third Annual Trade 2000 Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Brunswick. The purpose of the conference is to promote mutually beneficial trade and economic relationships between American and Hungarian companies. The conference will include a product exhibition, symposium, pre-arranged business partnership meetings between American and Hungarian companies and a special day-long workshop on Hungarian and American business practices. The Trade 2000 Conference targets U.S. and Hungarian businesses from the food, food processing, agriculture, agro-pharmaceutical, bio-agriculture and related industries. Trade 2000 is a program of the City of New Brunswick and the Sister Cities Hungarian Trade Fair Committee and is being cosponsored by, among others, the Hungarian American Chamber of Commerce, Hungarian Ministry of International Economic Relations, Hungarian Embassy Commercial Office, Rutgers University, and Hungarian Heritage Center of the American Hungarian Foundation.
