March 1993, William Penn Life, Page 3 Hungary tours offer perfect summer vacation NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — As another cold winter season winds down, many William Penn members are beginning to make plans for summer. A few of the more adventurous ones are planning to take the most exciting and memorable vacation of their lives . . . and you can join them. This summer, the William Penn will once again offer its members and friends the opportunity to explore Hungary. The first of two Association-sponsored tours will run from June 24 to July 8, and a second will be offered from Sept. 9 to 23. Both tours offer identical itineraries, so participants will share the same experiences and enjoy the same breathtaking sites no matter which of the two tours they take. Both tours will depart from New York and first arrive in Vienna, Austria. There, guests will enjoy two days of sightseeing in one of Europe’s most historic cities, including dinner at Grinzing Village in the Vienna Woods. From there you will travel to Hungary where you will visit many of the country’s most famous sites, including Esterházy Castle, Lake Balaton, the world famous Herend porcelain factory and museum, the Tokay wine region, the Buda Hills and the Citadel. Each tour will also include a four-day, four-night stay in Budapest during which guests will enjoy a dinner cruise along the Danube River and a gala farewell banquet on the final night of the tour. Throughout each tour guests will stay at some of Hungary’s finest hotels and travel by deluxe motorcoach with English speaking tour guides.
