Hungary Continued from Page 1 the countryside before your arrival in Vienna. The second day of your Austrian visit will include tours of Vienna and Grinzig Village. On Day 12 you will leave Vienna by hydrofoil for a trip on the Danube River heading back to Budapest. This scenic river trip will take you through Austria, Czechoslovakia and Hungary. You will arrive in Budapest in time for a free afternoon and a gala dinner at one of Hungary’s most renowned palaces, the Gundel Restaurant, a real old world masterpiece with gypsy musicians and crystal chadeliers. Day 13 will be a free day during which you can reflect on a wonderful tour and many pleasant memories. The following day will consist of an all-day tour of the Danube Bend. You’ll visit the old town of Szentendre with its shops and museums. You will also see the Roman ruins before arriving in Esztergom, the sight of the oldest Hungarian royal and church seat. After lunch you will visit the Tour set Citadel where you can view the Danube from a breathtaking vantage point. Then you’ll return to Budapest for a relaxing night. The next morning it’s off to the airport for you return flight home. During your tour you will be staying in some of Hungary’s finest hotels and traveling on deluxe motorcoaches with qualified English-speaking tour guides. The cost for this outstanding tour is $2,239 per person, based on double occupancy. You can reserve single accommodations for an additional $500. The tour price includes roundtrip air fare from New York to Budapest, all hotels, breakfast daily, 10 lunches, 11 dinners, the final night gala farewell banquet, ground transportation, all entrance fees to museums and attractions, hotel and air taxes, all transfers and visa fees. Guests departing from cities other than New York will be charged an add-on rate according to the city of departure. Those traveling from Pittsburgh and Cleveland will be charged $128, and guests departing from Chicago and Milwaukee will be charged $183. Add-on rates for other departure cities will be available. A deposit of $250 per person is required to secure your reservation. These special rates represent a savings of between $365 and $420 off the regular cruise rates. Tour organizers say there is a good chance the prices will be reduced even further if enough people sign up for the cruise. The cost includes ocean transportation and accommodations, all meals and entertainment aboard ship, ground transfers, port taxes, international departure tax and airport security charge. Air transportation to and from Ft. Lauderdale is also included in the package price. You can fly at no additional cost from one of 100 U.S. cities, including Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Hartford, Newark, New York, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Those coming from the southwestern and western U.S. will be charged a small add-on fare. The rate does not include costs for shore excursions, phone calls, laundry or valet service, wine, liquors, beverages and tips. Pre- and post-cruise stays at the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott can be yours for a small additional price. One-night pre-cruise stays are $60 per person, and twonight pre- or post-cruise stays are $100 per person (both based on double occupancy). Members and non-members are welcome to join the William Penn cruise group. There is no limit to the size of our group, but if you are interested in joining our cruise, you should get your reservations in early as space aboard ship is limited.
