Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon them. They will forever be sadly missed by the members of Branch 8057. Branch 8114 Clarion, PA By Robert V. Donahue Branch 8114 Secretary/Treasurer Branch 8114 held its annual Christmas Dinner on Dec. 15, 1987 at Immaculate Conception School in Clarion. Seventy-four members and guests enjoyed a very nice social which featured gifts and prizes. Our branch also participated in the Association’s Holiday Basket program this past holiday season. Branch President Robert Walter delivered baskets containing a nice selection of foods to four needy families in our area. Everyone who received a basket was pleased and grateful. Branch 8155 Steelton, PA The members of Branch 8155 met Feb. 3 to discuss plans to install base moulding in the corridors of St. John the Evangelist School. The branch also received prices on five new tables for the school cafeteria. Plus, branch officers were to meet with the parish council to discuss plans for renting the parish hall. Branch 8164 Steubenville, OH The members of Branch 8164 recently met for Mass at St. Anthony Church followed by breakfast and a meeting in the rectory social room. Branch President Pete Buffone and Chaplain Msgr. Paul L. Richter explained rules and regulations for the Lenten season. Louis Fodor, chairman of the National Auditing Committee, spoke on the Association’s various projects, including the bowling tournament to be held in May. Breakfast was served by Julia D’Aurora and Matilda Maier. The next branch meeting will be held on March 13. Branch 8286 Philadelphia, PA At their February meeting, the members of Branch 8286 agreed to assist Father Spaits of St. Vincent’s Church in any way they can to help the refugees and immigrants. Ten branch members also recently joined Father Spaits in welcoming the new archbishop of the Diocese of Philadelphia on Feb. 10. Branch 8321 Windber, PA With the help of Branch 8321, St. Anthony’s Church in Windber collected 60 boxes of clothing during its annual clothing drive held Jan. 19. The boxes were shipped to Ward Trucking in Johnstown, Pa. the following day for distribution. Branch members helping in this effort were Frank Bertino, Mauro Bucci, William Lombardi, Mike Spinos, Joseph Spinos, Joseph Yocca and Nunzio Yocca. Members are now planning for their annual Joint Communion Breakfast with the Holy Name Society to be held March 13. RYAN D. BAUSCH RACHEL D.
