December 1988, William Penn Life, Page 7 Fund drive supports Hungarian refugees PITTSBURGH — During this season of giving, the William Penn is asking all its members to remember the plight of the Hungarian refugees fleeing Romania and to support the relief efforts established to aid these refugees. The Association is continuing its own fund drive to help these fellow Hungarians. To date, the William Penn Association Erdély Fund has received more than $2,500 in donations from members and friends. Many of the refugees left behind all of their worldly possessions and are in desperate need of food, clothing, shelter and other essentials. Every dollar you donate helps. Anyone wishing to help the refugees from Erdély can send their donations to: William Penn Association Erdély Fund, 709 Brighton Road, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15233.
