In Memóriám McKEESPORT, PA - The entire Association was saddened by the recent death of Albert Jozik, re­tired editor of the Association’s official publication. He was 74. He passed away Nov. 23,1987, in McKeesport Hospital. A lifelong resident of McKees­port, Mr. Jozik was born Feb. 6, 1913, the son of the late B. Joseph and Julianna Ladiszlay Jozik. He was first employed by the former Verhovay Fraternal Insur­ance Association in 1940. He was the first English language editor of the society’s publication. He left the Verhovay in 1942 to serve in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war, Mr. Jozik resumed his editorial duties at the Verhovay and, later, the William Penn Association. A dis­ability led to his retirement in 1963. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret Vargo Jozik; two sons, Paul of Martinsburg, W. Va., and Albert of Jeffersontown, Ky.; a daughter, Margie Cruz of Wal­nut Grove, Calif.; and four grand­children.
