Receiving the awards were Winifred Miller of the Housekeeping Department and Lillian Eppinger of the Dietary Department. The awards were presented by Housekeeping Supervisor Vivian Wheeler and Dietary Supervisor J. J. Jones. Home Administrator Paul T. Shively joins WPA sales force PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh East Sales Agency recently announced that Lee Ann Shively has joined the agency as a new career agent. Ms. Shively joined the agency on Nov. 23 and will work under Agency Manager Dominic La Verde. We welcome Lee Ann to our William Penn Sales Force and Next summer, your children can learn about their heritage and tour Hungary... ... at our expense. We are looking for children between the ages of 8 and 14 who are interested in learning the Hungarian language and culture while experiencing the sites and sounds of the “Land of the Magyars.” The William Penn wants to give your children that opportunity next summer by sponsoring them at a special four-week Hungarian camp at beautiful Lake Balaton, followed by a five-day tour of Hungary. NFCA holds writing contest CHICAGO — Bruce Skrabanek of Snook, Texas, was recently named the winner of the U.S. Constitution Bicentennial Writing Contest sponsored by the National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA). Mr. Skrabanek received a $ 1,000 prize for winning the contest plus a trip to the NFCA’s 101st Annual Meeting in Chicago Oct. 1 to 4. In his essay, Mr. Skrabanek described the political system created by the U.S. Constitution as "one of reason, reflection, and expression of deliberate choice. "Housewives, farmers, actors, cab drivers, doctors, nurses, ministers and teachers, together with highly educationed lawyers, all constitute the opinion we as United States citizens respect.
