Branch 14 BRANCH 14 PICNIC—Pictures here reflect the varied and interesting activities held for people of all ages at the annual Branch 14 picnic held in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Cleveland, Ohio Activities have been many and varied for Branch 14 in Cleveland during 1985. One of the high points was a dinner at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church earlier this year, a dinner held as a token of appreciation for the older members who have consistently supported activities of the branch. The chairman for the event was Steve Lesco. Officers of the Branch this year include Robert Stypa, president; Sue Maddle, vicepresident; Tom Oris, treasurer; Julie Stypa, secretary; Margaret Ann Pucsok and Teresa Lesco, auditors. Members participated in a golf outing at the Skyline Pines Golf course, in mid-summer and the atmosphere was complemented with strolling musicians entertaining those who attended the banquet following the action on the links. Recipients of the Scholarship Fund were guests of honor at an awards dinner held in July in Independence, Ohio. The scholarship winners included Michelle Schwab, Gary Katona, Rose Fratino, Bob Perkins and Wendy and Kim Dorony. Officers representing the branch at the dinner were Julie Stypa and Tom Oris. Jeffrey Ward, the Ohio Agency Manager, presented the checks to the award winners. The annual summer picnic was held at Saxon Acres in Willoughby Hills. Traditional Hungarian food was served. Afternoon music featured the well-known Frank Borisz Orchestra. Pony rides were provided for children and a disc jockey played for young people in the evening hours. Meetings of the branch are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Howard Johnson’s Hotel at East 55th and Shoreway. All members are invited and encouraged to participate in meetings and activities. — " 1 ' l ' ' " ■ ' ■ ------------------------------------Andrew S. Uzonyi Named Agency Manager ANDREW S.
