These are all concepts of hope for happiness in life that your young one will understand. We can all enjoy Easter together, especially if we experience it with children, grandchildren and family. Instilling the enduring message of Easter in the minds of children; the message of sacrificial love, forgiveness and hope, will make this holiday more meaningful for you and your family. Your children will grow each year in their understanding that the promise of Easter extends love and hope across the earth to all people. DIES IN ALLENTOWN, PA. — Msgr. Raymond Leichner, who was spiritual advisor of Branch 8073 in Allentown, died on February 3, 1985. Several members of the branch served as honor guards during the viewing in Sacred Heart Church. Anthony Covely is president of the Allentown Branch. IN MEMÓRIÁM ALBERT V. KOCSIS After a lengthy illness, the last Supreme President of the former Rákóczi Aid Association, Albert V. Kocsis died in his 90th year on Tuesday, February 26, 1985. Mr. Kocsis was born in Nagy Ráth, Ung Megye, Hungary, and came to the United States as a 16 year old young man. He became active in the Rákóczi very early in life and was a staunch fraternalist until the time his physical condition no longer permitted him to remain active. During his fraternal career he held many offices in Branch 1 (Parent Lodge) and on the National level. He began by being the Juvenile Dues Collector for the Parent Branch. He served in this capacity until his talents and dedication were recognized and the National Convention elected him Supreme Vice- President. Shortly after taking office, the then Supreme President George Tobis died and Mr. Kocsis was elevated to the position of Supreme President. He remained Supreme President until the Verhovay-Rákoczi merger in 1956. Although he did not support the merger, once the Convention voted for it, he became an enthusiastic supporter of the merged Association. He once stated to this writer that yes, I was not on the winning side, but this does not diminish my love for this great Hungarian fraternal benefit society, and I’ll continue to do what I can for the Association’s well being by laboring in Branch 1 as an officer. He did serve as Branch Treasurer and on several occasions was Convention delegate. He also participated in William Penn tours to Hungary. Mr. Kocsis was a well respected employee of the Max- Ams Company, Fairfield, Connecticut. He was a first class tool and dye maker and plied his trade well. The late Mrs. Kocsis, nee Antoinette Murkim, preceded him in death several years ago. Mr. Kocsis is survived by his only daughter, Mrs. Valerie Woodworth, who so faithfully nursed him through many years of disability, son-in-law John, who has been an officer of Branch 1 and a Convention delegate, also. Also surviving are three grandsons, Paul, Peter and Albert Woodworth. Mr. Kocsis was buried from the Lesko Funeral Home, Friday, March 1, 1985. In bidding farewell to a true fraternalist, we are saddened because in him we have lost another valuable prioneer who sacrificed much time and energy for the promotion of his beloved Rákóczi and William Penn. Our ranks are thinning, but our memories and gratitude are strong. President Kocsis, your fellow fraternalists mourn your passing and pray that the perpetual liqht shine upon you. Isten Veled. ___________________A.J.S.
