We wish to extend congratulations to Carol and James Heffelfinger on the birth of their son, Kevin James, born on “Mother’s Day”, May 13th. What a beautiful Mother’s Day gift! Con­gratulations also to the proud grand­parents, Betty and Reydesel Holguin. Congratulations are also extended to Louis Molnár and Lisa Tackett on their engagement. Louis is the son of Louis and Irene Molnár of Southgate. It was indeed nice to see Dorothy Csanyi and have a lovely chat with her recently. Fraternally yours, Betty Holguin, Treasurer Branch 18 Ladies Auxiliary Detroit, Michigan The Ladies Auxiliary card party which was held on May 7th was a suc­cess. Beautiful geraniums were set up on the tables, wonderful dessert was had and many prizes were given out. Our ladies and officers did a fine job in making this card party a success. Vice President Anne Leny, who was in charge, had a freak accident and could not attend, however, our President, Kender, with the ladies did very well in helping at this affair to make it a suc­cess. Anne Leny thanked everyone. Nice to see at our meeting was Marge Benke, who had been ill for sometime, making a wonderful recovery and Anna Toth, Mary Csanyi relaxed, back from the winter months from Florida. At our May meeting all the members wished William and Betty Kocsis a Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary, which was held on May 27th. Con­gratulations to both of you and we wish you many more with the best of health. President Kender had the honor to attend in Columbus, Ohio, at the an­nual bowling tournament, her first scholarship meeting. Ladies Auxiliary always make their yearly pledge. Secretary Louise did not attend this year for other business reasons. Our congratulations to two of our members, Irene Gall and Barbara House. A new member has been added to their family, Jason Robert Wolfe, son of Debbie and Glenn Wolfe. President Kender is making ar­rangements for a one day bus tour to Kingsville, Ontario, Canada.
