He was four years old and he had a lot of friends. The names of his friends were Sara, Kerry, Shellie and Scott. Soon Lester’s birthday came, but his friends did not know what to get him. So they went to a store and asked the storekeeper. The storekeeper said that a little boy like Lester would like a toy plane. So they looked in a big toy store but they did not find a toy plane. They went to another store but they still did not find a toy plane. They looked in a big mall. They looked in big stores. They looked in little stores. But they did not find a toy plane. They went out of the mall. When they left the mall, they saw a big boy with a plane. They asked the boy where he got it. The boy said he got it four blocks down the street. So the friends had to walk four blocks down the street. Then they saw a store not too big and not too small. It was just right. They went into the nice store. They did not find the same plane the big boy had but it was a plane all right! They took it home. Today was Lester’s birthday party. All his friends came. Lester was opening his presents. “Rip, rip, rip,” they heard. Lester saw the plane but he did not like it. He said he wanted a helicopter. All his friends said, “Oh no.” And Lester said, “Oh yes.” They left the party. They saw a man cutting down trees. They ran over to him and asked him if he would give them some of his wood. The man said, “Yes, but what do you need it for?” “We need it to make a helicopter.” “Oh no,” laughed the man. “That will take too long, let me make one for you.” Lester’s friends stood and watched. It was all done now. They ran home and gave it to Lester. He said he wanted a lot of stuff. Oh, no. Oh, yes!! There is only one most beautiful baby in the world. Every mother has it.
