rowed by the death of Mr. Molnár. Our heart felt sympathy to the Molnár family. May all the deceased rest in peace. We at the William Penn Club are very proud of the Popovich Dance Studio volleyball team for winning the Recreation Department volleyball championship tournament! The girls on the team: Captain Penny Duruttya, Lori McClung, Sherri Thomas, Jennie Carman, Shelley Summers and Kellie Summers, are all William Penn kitchen helpers who help at all banquets, steak fries and Saturday and Sunday breakfast. For people like Margaret Korosy, who left from Upper Sandusky to visit her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Katona in California; to Mrs. Dan Trieff and daughters, Rachel, Becky, Mary and son Danny from Indiana, who are traveling to Florida; to Mr. and Mrs. Gene Warne from Louisville, Ohio, who are traveling to Corpus Christi, Texas to visit their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nile, and to all of you who are traveling to vacation places, please drive carefully and have a safe and happy vacation. I’m sorry there wasn’t any Branch 189 write up for the Spring Penn Life magazine. Having been in Akron City Hospital for a knee implant, it was impossible to make the dead line. I do want to thank my dear husband, relatives and friends, for the many lovely cards, gifts, visits, but most especially for the many prayers, which 1 know our dear Lord heard and is still hearing. Thank you dear Lord. A very special thank you to Etta and Mike Korosy for the nice letter they sent me, saying how much they enjoy reading the Penn Life. Mike and his lovely wife, Etta, are now retired from the grocery business. Have a happy and enjoyable retirement! Call Branch Manager Zoltán Cibulas at (216) 823-2028 for any insurance problems you have or for more insurance needed. Fraternally, Marie Duruttya MONEY IMPORTANT, BUT . . . Good pay does not insure good teachers or good policemen or good doctors or good you-name-them. To insure good teachers and policemen and doctors and so on, you must make sure they are good people — first. If pay alone is the only incentive, the people and their services are of doubtful value. Pittsburgh Mayoral Parade This is the second year that the Ethnic Group of Western Pennsylvania has received the helpful auspices of the William Penn Association in the successful Pittsburgh Mayoral Parade held May 22. Mayor Richard Caligiuri sent the Ethnic Group a congratulatory certificate in commending them for their participation and outstanding performance in the 2nd Annual Heritage Day Parade. As you can tell from the pictures, this year’s parade was well attended by their members. Branch 214 Flint, Michigan Mr. and Mrs. Charles Udvarnoky recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. A reception was given by their children, Charles Jr., of New York, and Mrs. Frances Pughe of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. They also have 5 grandchildren. Mrs. Udvarnoky is the former Mary Eperjesi of Columbus, Ohio. They were married June 4, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pa. They are both members of Branch 214. y Education has taught me what to do; experience has taught me what not to do; and common sense allows me to do what I have learned. Ethnie Group of Western Pennsylvania Attention Bowlers! For all the bowlers, we have very good news. The 1983 National Bowling Tournament will be held here in Michigan. The Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan will be the headquarters for the 3 day weekend. Plans are already being made to show everyone a very good time so plan on coming to Detroit in 1983 and will see you then. Fraternal Co-ordinators Branch 18 Darlene Szatmári Laci Beregszaszy
